    Assists with programs that improve employees" competitive understanding and readiness.

  • Supports employee involvement in company sponsored internal and external outreach events and community volunteering by collaborating with Community Relations team.

  • Maintains information on company intranet site (CoxOne).

  • Coordinates employee incentives, contests, ticket distributions, contests and other engagement activities.

  • Drafts leadership communications to deliver to employees and creates messaging focus.

  • Public Relations/Media Relations focus (15% of job responsibility):

  • Participates in activities that promote company visibility, builds a strong company image, and increases public awareness and consumer propensity to do business with Cox.

  • Assist with writing speeches, press releases and developing messaging statements.

  • Participates in crisis management messaging development.

  • Organizes company representatives to speak at public forums.

  • Implement PR programs that positively position Cox"s residential and commercial services to current and potential customers and align closely with marketing campaigns, using communications tools and practices, reinforce the competitive advantages and overall value of Cox"s products.

  • Monitors statements about Cox in the public, media, and social media sites, and recommend appropriate responses.

    Marketing Analyst

    Description

    Develops front-to-end data driven strategies that align with Cox Media Sales and Marketing’s objectives and programs to attract new customers, grow total advertising spend with existing customers and reduce overall churn though research, analysis and summary of market, sales, product and other data. Provides expertise on marketplace trends, competitive positioning, research-based sales tools and multiscreen performance based campaign metrics to drive business decisions. Translates sometimes disparate data sets into actionable insights regarding opportunities to connect Cox Media multi-product solutions and client’s marketing objectives. Provides research-based training to Sales Consultants on how to promote and position Cox Media portfolio products to drive sales and client retention.

  • Analyzes secondary research data (including quantitative and qualitative) to demonstrate value for Cox Media products and takes initiative to find growth opportunities and recommend solutions based on findings.

  • Provides high-touch research support to Sales Consultants and Sales Service Specialists for developing customized solutions and presentations geared towards securing advertising revenue.

  • Proactively seeks out top programming (i.e. notable shows and sports) stories and works in partnership with Marketing Communications Specialist to translate into client facing material.
