Senior Electronics Engineer
Microsoft HoloLens Team is continuing to revolutionize consumer electronic devices. We are currently looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer who is innovative and has a passion for developing hardware that will enable our next generation display technologies.
Responsibilities
The position will require working on a cross function team to define and develop electronics sub-systems for our displays. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining documentation such as sub-system specifications; defining functional tests; performing design analyses and risk analysis with contingency planning; assessing designs for manufacturability, durability and reliability, designing experiments; collecting, analyzing and interpreting data; technical problem solving and innovating creative solutions;
As a senior member of the team, the Senior Electronics Engineer is responsible for leading design reviews and mentoring junior engineers.
Qualifications
Proven track record of taking a high-volume consumer product from concept through prototyping and development and into high volume production
Analog, digital and mixed signal circuit design
Circuit simulation
System architecture and modeling
Signal integrity
Schematic capture and PCBA design skills
Strong troubleshooting skills and willingness to mentor junior engineers during system bring-up
Applicant must be able to travel to design and manufacturing locations throughout the world including Asia and Europe.
Additional Desirable Qualifications:
Strong technical understanding of displays & image quality metrics
